Hire a BBQ Pontoon Boat and set sail. It holds 10 people and no boat licence is needed.

Fuel, safety gear, BBQ, gas and esky are all provided – you just bring your utensils and food.  You do need a responsible person and designated driver – they receive in depth briefing before you launch off.

A bush walk up to Carlo Sand Blow is a must for every visitor.  Drive to the reservoir at the top of Cooloola Drive.  The Blow is an easy 600m walk from the car park or take the longer walk from the National Parks Office.

Coloured Sands

Starting from the Surf Club, walk along the beach towards Double Island Point for a kilometre or so to these amazing Coloured sand cliffs, or Drive in your 4×4.
